Dr. Ton treats spine issues (if they are documented with the usual requisite evidence like MRIs and CT scans). He may provide other services, one of which seems to be anesthesia, but in my case he has done the same procedure in the office at intervals because epidural steroid injections don't last forever for people like me with degenerative diseases. But I can tell you, they are very effective--the next best thing to successful surgery. Though he is a pain specialist, he has not prescribed any kind of pain medicine or sedatives to me. That is not a knock, pain medicine does not make back (spine problems). They create their own complications. So it's a wise policy to treat back problems with epidural steroid injections directly into the site of the injury area or disease like I have called Spinal stenosis. His practice leaves nothing to be desired. He is nice, very careful, effective, courteous. His staff have been terrific--caring, considerate, gentle and they assist in the administration of the the steroid with x-ray to be sure he hits the right spot. They help you off the table with step stools and are genuinely considerate, pleasant and warm. They offer you nice cold drinks after the short procedure because they know you have not had any liquids for a couple of hours before the procedure. In short, this practice is not a drug prescription dispenser, it is a hospital-quality outfit with the right equipment but are a better-than-hospital-personalized atmosphere of cleanliness, professionalism and courtesy which does not try to bilk insurance with unnecessary follow-ups. These injections can not be given again in short order so the patient is in charge of arranging treatment, which so far has never been an inordinately long wait. The only reason they didn't get all stars was a few questions that were over the top like "most knowledgeable staff you ever encountered" I can't know that, I answered in a way that meant they are more than modern and competent and know their business and how to maintain it as a top if the best as what they do.
