Good dermatologist, knows his stuff medically. When he has to excise any suspicious skin growth and then sew it up, his stitching is outstanding, a work of art.

He's what we usually call a "character", and a pretty independent type, so when asked a medical question tends to answer the question he thinks he'd have asked rather than the question he was asked. Acceptable, but far from ideal.

But getting prescription renewals from him is worse than pulling teeth. It's so bad that far too often I simply can't get the meds to treat my chronic conditions, which means they go untreated. And that is firmly in "unacceptable" territory. So I'm going to have to change providers.

If you don't have chronic conditions and don't need a steady supply of meds, he's probably fine, and even fairly entertaining. If you DO need a steady supply, you may find the service somewhere between unsatisfactory and useless.
