MyidealCARE(tm) this past semester, donated an advanced computerized fetal monitor to SW Georgia Technical college so students can have hands on experience working with the equipment before working in the field.
Typically, smaller colleges and technical schools cannot afford the latest medical equipment. By partnering with the college, MyidealCARE can indirectly serve the future needs of all residents in the community. Gaining valuable experience with the digital monitoring equipment allows students to immediately step into roles for testing and evaluation upon graduation. Instead of having to go through more extensive on-the-job training, the graduates will have more to offer prospective employers.
This benefits everyone. MyidealCARE hopes that other medical supply companies take an active interest in their local community resources and help support the education of medical professionals in this manner.
"I would like to thank Mr. Adrian Davis with MyIdealCare for donating this premium digital monitor to the ASN program. This monitor will allow our students to trace fetal heartbeats and then store them into our electronic medical record system for debriefing. This machine will help our College meet the changing digital needs and enhance patient care in the obstetrical area," Tammy Bryant, RN, Associate of Science Nursing Program Director.
Southwest Georgia Technical College is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia.
While MyidealCARE's consumer side offers only diabetic supplies, for example, blood glucose monitoring systems, we are equally dedicated to providing Medicare, Medicaid and uninsured patients with the supplies they need at little or no cost.
We have literally skewed the existing profit model of most medical equipment suppliers by making the target customer, whether a nursing home or consumer, the primary focus. Dedicated to community education the company offers free seminars for health and wellness, specifically for diabetics and their families, so everyone can manage their illness and dispel myths about diabetes.
