30 Seconds Sprint For Weight loss!
By Jose Fuentes/S.C.S/M.S./CPT/Writer-Author

Sprinting is a high-intensity form of exercise, which is particularly beneficial for people trying to lose weight. High-intensity, anaerobic exercise, allows the body to burn more calories while exercising. It also has the advantage of causing the body to burn more calories after you've completed your workout. In other words, sprinting and other high-intensity exercises boost calorie burn for hours after your workout is complete.
We did a study at our private training center on 16 subjects: eight who performed a two-week sprint interval training program and eight who did exercise training. The training program consisted of between four and seven 30-second bursts of "all out" cycling followed by four minutes of recovery three times a week for two weeks. We found that endurance capacity in the sprint group increased on average from 26 minutes to 51 minutes! whereas the group that only did weights showed no change. The muscles of the trained group also showed a significant increase in citrate synthase, an enzyme that is indicative of the tissue's ability to utilize oxygen.

If you have a major impediment to fitness and conditioning because of lack of time."Sprint training may offer you an option.
"This type of training is very demanding and requires a high level of motivation, however less frequent, higher intensity exercise can indeed lead to big improvements in weight loss and overall health and fitness."
