Nancy Albus and Lori D. Galperin, Executive Director and Clinical Co-Director respectively of Castlewood, would be representing the eating disorder treatment center at the 6th ANAD Midwest Eating Disorders Conference. The venue of the conference is the Oakbrook Marriott in Oakbrook, Illinois. The meeting would be conducted on May 6, 2011.
Based in Missouri, Castlewood provides personalized recovery programs for the purpose of anorexia treatment, bulimia treatment, and other eating disorder treatments. The Center has different programs to suit the various needs and conditions of patients. The current programs are:

More about Lori D. Galperin and Nancy Albus
Lori D. Galperin, Castlewood's Clinical Co-Director is trained in EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, Expressive and Attachment-based Therapies, and Internal Family Systems. She initially earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and completed her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work at Tulane University. She is an accomplished contributor in the areas of sexual compulsivity, dissociative and eating disorders, marital and sexual dysfunction, and sexual trauma.
Nancy Albus, Castlewood's Executive Director is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She joined Castlewood as a therapist in 2002 and is also program director there. She is trained in Internal Family Systems, and apart from her interest in eating disorders, works with problems relating to sexuality and femininity, including facilitating the Femininity and Sexuality group in Residential Treatment.
To Offer Hope to the Sufferers
Castlewood hopes to be able to help a greater number of people by making all those present at the conference aware of the various treatment options available at the center. ANAD (The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders)'s Midwest Conference is being held in association with Linden Oaks Hospital and Rogers Memorial Hospital. The conference is part of the association's endeavors to prevent, support, and educate eating disorder sufferers.
