I am a clinician who has been working with adolescents & adults, individuals, couples & families since 1994. I help people acquire the skills needed to cope with various life challenges. Previous clinical experiences have included working as an oncology social worker at the University of Maryland Cancer Center with cancer patients and their families; working as a school social worker at the National Children’s Center, a special education center in Washington, DC, and working as a school social worker in Fairfax County Public Schools in both the general and special education programs. I also teach parenting classes, provide staff development seminars, and create custom workshops on various topics for presentation throughout the community. I have found the key to a successful therapeutic experience is the relationship between client and therapist.
