I arrived at my scheduled appointment early and submitted an updated insurance card. After waiting for over 1/2 hour I was then informed that my files needed to be updated where I then filled out ALL the paper work then retuned them to the assistant. (normally this is done in advance in an effort to be more efficient, not a 1/2 hour after the scheduled appointment time) After numerous patients came and went it had been over an hour of being passed up that I left the office without seeing anyone. I like Dr. Deforest and the convenience of his office being local, but the front office has always been questionable as this was the last straw.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. Getting appointments around work schedules is difficult. Office staff has given wrong information at times, and has billed the wrong insurance company and sent lab work to a facility not covered by my insurance. This was rectified after a couple of phone calls.
