My very sick old dog (with a collapse lung), was a patient at this hospital and the vet refused to euthanize her in the a.m. He would only agree to do it at the end of his shift because it would depress him the rest of the day. How insensitive to the suffering old dog and the vet more concerned about HIMSELF ! I had to take her to an unfamiliar vet in her dying moment. Would never recommend DOC!

If you're looking for a good vet, you can stop looking. You won't find a more talented veterinarian or a more compassionate staff anywhere.

Twenty-some years ago, I brought a sick kitten to Dr. Taylor. Millie had been examined and treated by another vet (great reputation, new offices, etc.) who hospitalized her for five days, but could find no reason for the kitten's lethargy and total loss of appetite. He charged me $250, and I took her home.

The next day, she was much worse. I called Dr. Taylor and explained the situation. Although he was booked all day, he offered to examine Millie after regular office hours to see if we could save her.

The exam and the blood tests took a half-hour. Dr. Taylor's diagnosis: Millie's spleen was mal-functioning, and it had to be removed quickly or she would die.

Removing a major organ sounded risky and expensive. Dr. Taylor explained the procedure, reviewed the risks, and estimated the costs. He assured me that Millie could live well without a spleen for a long time.

He was right. Two days after the surgery, Millie's appetite had returned and the lethargy had disappeared. By the time her stitches were removed, Millie was an active, playful kitten again.

She remained playful and active until her death fifteen years later.

In the almost quarter century since that first exam, Doc has helped me care for four dogs and three cats. Together we've experienced the joys and trials of a newly adopted pet, and together we've faced the painful decisions that come at the end.

I started this review by saying you won't find a more talented vet anywhere. In fact, I haven't met any professional - doctor, teacher, attorney, anyone - whose talents I trust more. Our families have never had dinner together or been to a movie together; in fact, we've never had any social interaction outside the office. But still: like most of his clients, I see him as one of my closest and trusted friends.

What follows is the written response generated by the website's computer (based on my responses to the site's questionnaire):

They have a huge selection of medication available for pets and fully explain the benefits and possible side effects that each one presents. They also provide flea protection by the month, if you prefer to buy it that way. It's such a great place. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all.
